The Birth of an “Integral Entrepreneur”

How did I learn all this? how can my expertise benefit you?…

In my teens, I was fortunate to live in England where I spent many hours at the Cambridge University library reading Western philosophy, psychology and history. While there, I became an award-winning photographer and studied classical piano with a Cambridge University professor.

By the time I was 18 I had already traveled and experienced more than most people do in their lifetime. I knew firsthand the very best the western world had to offer.

…but something wasn’t right. I was unfulfilled.

I experienced the best the outer world had to offer but I was still left with an empty feeling inside.

In my late teens I discovered Eastern Mysticism. For the next decade I explored the inner worlds through meditation and developed my intuitive skills.

In my early 20′s I traveled to India three times for a total of a year. There I deepened my meditation practice and learned to play the tablas (Indian drums).

My life was devoted to meditation and service. Mixed in there, I graduated with high honors from California State University with a BA in art. I spent much of my time traveling the western United States giving informational talks and teaching meditation.

…but something STILL wasn’t right. I was broke!

I was so enraptured with “Blissland” that I wasn’t rooted in the physical world. By my late 20′s my “karma caught up with me” and I came crashing back down to earth to face the fact that I was broke. Has that ever happened to you? I started the slow and painful process of taking full responsibility for my life.

The turning point happened around 2003 when I heard the word “Entrepreneur” with new ears. I knew somehow that I could blend the western and eastern philosophies together to give my gift to the world.

My mission is to help leaders better bring THEIR gifts to the world. I realize that if I can help leaders impact the people their meant to serve, then I’ve indirectly helped all THOSE people, too.  It’s like ripples expanding outward…I never know how far the rings will go or who they will touch.

My Entrepreneurial Path

I thought everything would be smooth sailing from then on but I realized something I see today in the majority of my clients. I couldn’t seem to find my niche. I had so many ideas flying through my head every minute that not one idea could take root. I chased one bright shiny object after another.

Some of the businesses I tried to launch were: candle maker, life coach, organizer, photographer, woodworker, multi level marketing, carpenter…the list goes on. Even though I was skilled in so many areas, it was hard to translate my passions into a profitable business. Sound familiar?

Then one bright day, I happened to walk into a networking event in Los Angeles with an information product I had just finished creating with a colleague. It was a binder with about 150 pages and 8 CDs.

I got swarmed!

People surrounded me and asked how I did it and could I make an information product for them, too? I was stunned! With my art background, it was easy to create – I didn’t think it was anything special. I remember driving out of the basement garage after that event, literally driving into the light, when it struck me, “I think I just found my niche!”

I became the “Info Product Guy” creating information products for entrepreneurs all over the world in a wide variety of industries. I started with no clients but quickly built a full coaching practice doing what I love within a few short months.

Becoming a Small Business Marketing Coach

The more I worked with clients creating their information products, the more I saw a need to help my clients first get clear on their marketing message and offers. They needed help discovering their niche and business strategy.

This led me to develop my model of “The Entrepreneur’s Path”. It covers the full spectrum of skills and experience an entrepreneur needs, from wondering what to do to building a thriving, profitable business.

Today, I help my clients journey successfully through their Entrepreneur’s Path™, a simple, time-proven method to market and grow your business the fast, fun and easy way. Clients from all over the world in over 30 unique industries hire me as their coach because of my ability to “coach the product, programs and marketing strategy out of them”.

Some of the dozens of industries I’ve coached within include: sales, internet marketing, golf, life coaching, acupuncture, book publishing, palmistry, real estate, interior design, business start-ups, healers, personal growth, copywriters…the list goes on.

Today, I’m also the head coach for leading female entrepreneur Ali Brown’s Millionaire Protege Club Platinum Tier.
